TOP NOTCH. The only words I can use to describe the folks at The Auto Shop. A slightly unique situation, I had to find them strictly on line to send our rental customer to. Not only where they willing to help, they got us in and repaired POST HASTE and got our customer back on the road in no time. I went strictly off of reviews and can say I am HAPPY to add another 5 stars!!

Good service. Third time I take my truck to them. I trust them my truck and car, both Toyota. Good service. They are courteous and seem proficient. Unlike my local brand distributor, they are reliable and take responsibility of the job they do. I have no complains of the work the have done in my vehicles.

I was having multiple issues with my car, they resolved everything quickly and provided me with great service. They even repaired a major issue at one third the estimate given by another shop. I am now happily driving with no check engine lights on my dash. Car is running great and I know I'll never use another repair shop, The Auto Shop is my forever mechanic! They took the time to explain everything without mansplaining to me.

Everyone was so friendly and the shop was well kept. They have a little waiting area w/daily newspapers from WSJ, the times, phone chargers and complimentary coffee/water or juice. They fixed the AC in my hyundai in under 2 hrs and did so at an extremely reasonable price—I highly recommend these guys!

This was the best car repair experience ever. I brought my car in for the air conditioning and it was done within 2 hours! Very courteous, communicative, and fair with the price. This has always been an excellent repair shop. I have not been here since the ownership change, and I was happy to see that the service is as good as ever.

I have a 2000 and a 97 Mustang that I have had to have lots of repairs done on because the prior owners stripped them for parts or outright installed the wrong parts because they didn’t know what they were doing. I knew they were project cars when I bought them, but they were both in running condition and I didn’t want to see them end up in a junkyard. When I bought them I lived in the Bay Area and the mechanics there were atrocious! Half the time they couldn’t even tell me what the problem was. Then 8 years ago I moved to Modesto and after trying a few different shops here, I found The Auto Shop and I don’t take my cars anywhere else unless it’s something they don’t work on like convertible tops. Todd is amazing and incredibly knowledgeable and honest. He won’t try to charge you for repairs you don’t need and will tell you exactly what the problem is and give you the price up front. If he finds something unexpected, he lets you know so you can decide if you want him to take care of it or not. If it’s a simple fix, lets you know that too.He always charges a fair price and does fantastic work. My Mustangs now run better than they ever have by a mile! I guarantee you that if you bring your car to them, you’ll never want or need to go anywhere else for your repairs. If I could give a hundred stars rating, I would! - Jim N - Modesto

This was the first time I have been to The Auto Shop and I can honestly say that the owner and his team are absolutely wonderful. I can confidently say that this is the only place I will be going from now on for my vehicle. They were very professional with excellent customer service. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know. The cost was very reasonable and my car was done in a very timely manner.
